Kao Oleochemical (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (KOM) is wholly owned by Kao Corporation Japan. Established in 1991, KOM began operations in late 1992, producing EB Wax (Ethylene Bis Alkylamide). The local production of EB Wax, with stable suppy of fatty acids, supports the Malaysian plastic processing industry and the
downstream development of the oleochemical industry.
