Kao's Chemical Business works to address challenges faced by our customers and industries by providing innovative products and solutions. This logo was created in 1992, to serve as a guideline for future business activities in order to clarify our vision for the future. The slogan, “bringing new value for chemicals” symbolizes more than simply selling chemicals. It is also a sign of our commitment towards total customer satisfaction by imparting new, innovative functions and information to the products we sell.

Company Profile

Kao Oleochemical (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (KOM) is wholly owned by Kao
Corporation Japan. Established in 1991, KOM began operations in late 1992, producing EB Wax (Ethylene Bis Alkylamide). The local production of EB Wax, with stable suppy of fatty acids, supports the Malaysian plastic processing industry and the downstream development of the oleochemical industry.
The manufacturing process is fully computerized, utilizing advanced
technology to ensure high-quality production.

EB Wax: An additive for plastics processing, used as a lubricant to prevent sticking to metal surfaces and to smooth the surface of molded or rolled plastics. Commonly used in home electronics and car industries.
