KIC (Kao Indonesia Chemicals) has successfully carried out "Responsible Care Verification" on 10th & 11th September 2025, with verifiers from Responsible Care Indonesia.
Responsible Care ® is the global chemical industry’s voluntary initiative to drive continuous improvement in safe chemicals management and achieve excellence in environmental, health, safety and security performance.
Responsible Care consists of 7 Codes:

  1. Environmental, Health & Safety Code
  2. Pollution Prevention Code
  3. Process Safety Code
  4. Product Stewardship Code
  5. Distribution Code
  6. Community Awareness & Emergency Response Code
  7. Security Code

This verification ensures that the implementation of all Responsible Care codes is aligned with standards, while also demonstrating transparency and accountability to stakeholders.
