Kao Singapore Private Ltd (KSPL) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kao Corporation, Tokyo, Japan. KSPL consists of Chemical Division and onsumer Products Division.

KSPL Chemical Division acts as a trading house who markets Kao's chemical products over a wide area. We cover Southeast Asia, Oceania, Middle East and South Africa.

Kao Malaysia Sdn Bhd was incorporated

1972 December

Company name changed to Kao (Singapore) Pte Ltd

1975 October

Formally started direct sales operations

1977 April

Full sales & distribution operations

1988 April

Kao Southeast Asia Pte Ltd was incorporated for chemical business

2002 December

Moved to current office at Beach Road, Gateway West

2003 April

Kao Singapore merged with Kao Southeast Asia into one company
