Kao Penang Group supports underserved communities through charitable contributions, festive outreach programs, and continuous community care initiatives that foster compassion and social wellbeing.Through visits to local orphanages during major festive seasons, KPG employees engage with children and contribute to their wellbeing through donations, daily care products, and community activities.

Kao Penang Group actively engages with local communities through health awareness programs and stakeholder dialogue initiatives that promote wellbeing and strengthen relationships.

In collaboration with Hospital Seberang Jaya, Kao Penang Group organized a blood donation program to encourage lifesaving contributions and foster a culture of care among employees and stakeholders.

Kao Penang Group conducts community dialogue sessions to encourage open communication and strengthen relationships with local stakeholders through constructive discussion and information sharing.

Kao Penang Group conducts hand hygiene education programs to raise awareness of proper hygiene practices and promote healthier communities through interactive educational activities.

Kao Penang Group promotes biodiversity conservation through environmental initiatives carried out in collaboration with employees, communities, and external partners.

In June 2024, Kao Penang Group organized a Biodiversity Program at Song Song Island, Kedah, to contribute to the conservation of the island's coastal and marine environment.
The program included the following activities:

Participants conducted a beach clean-up activity to help protect the coastal environment. A total of 50 bags of rubbish were collected, of which 30 bags contained recyclable waste.

KPG participants helped refurbish damaged facilities on the island, including a gazebo roof, praying room, and staircase.

Coral propagation activities were also conducted as part of the program, including attaching coral branches to racks and monitoring their survival over a six-month period.

Through a collaborative effort with IOI Oleochemical Sdn. Bhd., KPG carried out biodiversity conservation activities at Teluk Bahang Forest Eco Park to support ecosystem preservation, and environmental awareness in 2025.

Tree planting, river cleaning, and guided nature walk activities were conducted at Teluk Bahang Forest Eco Park as part of KPG's biodiversity conservation efforts, providing participants with insights into the local ecosystem and biodiversity through ranger-lededucational sessions.

Kao Penang Group supports environmental sustainability and community participation through initiatives that encourage collective responsibility for environmental conservation.

Kao Penang Group participated in the Penang Hill Trash Free Program organized by Penang Hill Corporation, supporting environmental sustainability and encouraging community participation in environmental conservation.
 
A total of 30 KPG employees, together with their family members, participated in the program and contributed to environmental conservation efforts at Penang Hill.
