Catalyst Supply Controller

The Catalyst Supply Controller is a system that adjusts the mix ratio of two types of catalysts to the change in sand temperature, maintaining the desired sand hardening speed.

Features of the Catalyst Supply Controller

  • The controller enables the automation of skilled work, stabilization of the molding line, optimization of catalyst usage and simplified catalyst management.
  •  The basic system mixes two types of catalysts, and by automatically adjusting the mix ratio of a fast and slow curing catalyst, enables automated control that only uses two types of catalysts all year round.
  •  A very wide control range can be achieved by combining catalysts that vary greatly in strength.
  • Can also be used to change the amount of resin or sand added at the mixer.
  • By using an EC curing agent for the controller as a measure to rectify reduction in mold strength in the furan resin mold process, it is possible to achieve strong mold strength at high sand temperatures, enabling consistent molding all year round.
