Kao's HOMOGENOL series is a solvent-based dispersant made from special polymers that can be used in a wide range of applications, including paints, inks, electronics, and mobility.
In addition to improving production efficiency, HOMOGENOL helps to increase product value while also meeting the growing demand for environmentally friendly manufacturing.
What is a solvent-based dispersant?
A dispersant is a type of surfactant that serves to uniformly disperse dispersoids (particles) such as pigments and ceramics in a solution.
Among them, solvent-based dispersants use ketones and alcohols as solvents. The dispersant is adsorbed to the surface of the dispersoids (particles), generating a steric repulsion working to improve separation of the particles.
Solutions
Looking for a biomass-based dispersant
Because it uses raw materials derived from palm oil and coconut oil, it can be used as a biomass product.
Use environmentally friendly dispersants that do not use toluene or ketones
HOMOGENOL L-28E is a toluene and ketone free, environmentally friendly dispersant.
Prevent paint and ink color separation
Superior dispersion and long-tern stability prevents color separation.
Redispersion of dried dispersoids
Because HOMOGENOL L-28E has excellent redispersibility, it can dissolve dried dispersoids to disperse particles again.
Looking for a dispersant that can be used in a variety of solvents
HOMOGENOL C-310 is a dispersant that can be used in any solvent.
Prevent static electricity
Due to its antistatic effect, it can also be used as an antistatic agent.
